Setup
Once powered on, simply follow the easy on-screen instructions on the KING Antenna. The DISH Tailgater Pro will automatically locate the DISH satellites, delivering access to HD channels in just minutes. If you are watching TV from your vehicle for more than a few hours, periodically run your vehicle to maintain battery life. For extended use, a portable power generator, power pack, or alternative accessory battery is recommended.

Note: The Tailgater only works in the 48 contiguous United States.
International channels are now only broadcasting on satellite 118w and are no longer on the eastern arc. As a result, there are no mobile antennas capable of picking up these channels.
**Programming lineup will be limited and/or not identical on the Secondary receiver. Complete signal loss can occur on the Secondary receiver if the Main receiver switches to programming on a different satellite that does not carry the same channel. However, the Secondary receiver can be re-configured to receive the same programming from any current satellite that the Main receiver is locked onto and is viewing live TV.

This package is replacing our original Tailgater and VIP211k. I couldn't be happier! The Wally is much smaller and a bit faster than the 211, and the transparent dome of the King dish is very handy so I can see where the dish is pointing and if the red light on the circuit board is lit, I know I have it hooked up correctly.
We have had good success in using our previous setup all over the US, including the east coast.
Set up is always easy, and with a phone app that shows me where the satellites are for a clear view, it's even easier.
So far the new dish and Wally seem to actually find and setup a bit faster. Perfect!!!! -

This system works great right out of the box. Everything came right up, and one call to Dish to activate it and all channels were there for viewing.
Very glad we purchased it. Dish is truly on the leading edge of customer service, technology and implementation. -

We upgraded from an older G2 to this unit. Absolutely love the fact you can see thru it and where it's aiming. Makes it easy to move it to an area it's happy with. Super easy setup!

Just purchased this for my camper. It was easy to set up & they were very helpful to get everything going. Picks up signal great. I’m not in a lot of trees, so not sure how good it would work in trees. I’m happy so far!

Overall really like this system but you have to understand it’s limitations. All the literature tells you that the second receiver can only receive channels from the satellite that the main receiver is tuned to but there are a couple of other things you have to know in order to get the most out of the second Wally. First: when setting up the system you have to start up both Wallys, one at a time using the main port or you will not have access to all of you channels. Second: if you are turning off the TV for your main Wally so you can watch the second Wally shut the TV off with the TV remote. Using the Wally remote will shut the Wally off which will not allow you to watch local channels.
Any time you need to reset either of the two Wally receivers make sure it is connected to the main port so all you subscribed channels show up in the guide. -

We like the unit, but I think its a stretch to say that it would work United States wide.
It needs to have a clear path with any obstacles to the south.
It is not exactly as easy as the instructions say to get it set up.
We had to get Tech support from Dish, but Tech person was EXCELLENT and very patient with us.The booklet says that it is not the best for the north eastern US (where we live!) so some channels do not come in at all.

I Was watching TV in just 20 minutes.
The only problem is I can only pick-up two satellites. -

Great satellite antenna. Easy to use and setup. So far I have only used it at one location and since we have been stationary for last 4 months, don't have much else to add until we move campgrounds. So far so good.

My family and I really like Glamping these days. the Dish pro is easy to set up and its light weight. I purchased an additional receiver so we don't have to fight over what programs we want to watch. After the initial set up, its basically a plug and play system. The individuals down at tech support are awesome to work with and are very patient.

This setup along with pay-as-you-go and being able to use an app on my phone to change my location for local channels is all great. Dish has done a wonderful job putting everything together for the traveling RVer. This receiver does work both east and west part of the country by changing one setting to pull a different satellite for local HD channels.

1 Year Extended Warranty
Extends parts & labor for 1 year in addition to the standard warranty.
Equates to 3 years parts, 3 years labor.
KING® now offers an optional extended warranty providing one year additional warranty coverage for both factory parts and factory labor.*
Terms and Conditions of Extended Warranty
Should any trouble develop during the extended warranty period, contact KING. You must contact KING before the warranty period expires. The customer must supply proof of purchase, (such as a dated sales receipt) and serial number when requesting warranty service. If customer cannot supply proof of purchase, warranty period shall start 30 days after date of manufacture.
Only KING will perform Extended Warranty service.
If it is determined that the unit needs to be returned to KING, customer must return complete product, freight prepaid, to: KING, 11200 Hampshire Avenue South, Bloomington, MN 55438-2453 If inspection shows the trouble is caused by defective workmanship or material, KING will repair (Or at its option, replace) without charge.
When returning product, KING will supply an RMA number (Return Merchandise Authorization). This number must be clearly written on the box. Failure to clearly write the RMA number on the box may result in delays in processing claim. Along with product, customer should include in the box: his/her name, address, daytime phone number, proof of purchase, and description of the problem.
This warranty does not cover installation and external wiring. This warranty is not transferable from the original owner. Due to the expanding and changing TV market, KING cannot be held responsible for changes made to satellite services. Software updates to address such issues are not covered under warranty.
This warranty also does not apply where:
The product has been abused, misused, improperly installed, or improperly maintained
Repairs have been made or attempted by others that are not certified by KING to do such repairs
Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear
Alterations have been made to the product
The dome cover has been removed without authorization
Damage has been caused by power washing
Circumstances beyond the control of KING cause the product to no longer operate correctly
Customer is not the original owner
In no event shall KING be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from the sale or use of the product. This disclaimer applies both during and after the term of the warranty.
KING disclaims liability for any implied warranties, including implied warranties of “merchantability” and “fitness for a specific purpose”, after the one year term of this warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
*Standard warranty (1 year) includes field labor. Extended warranty (year 2) is factory labor only and must be completed by KING.
