Loading... Please wait...I've heard about HD Free for Life. Can I get that offer with the RV package?
The HD free for life promotion for RV customers requires a one-time HD programming upgrade fee of $99. After paying this one-time fee, you will receive HD programming at no additional monthly cost for the life of your account.
Is it true there is no commitment and no activation, disconnect or restart fees?
Yes. There is no commitment required and no activation, disconnect or restart fees. When you are no longer using your service you can simply stop paying your monthly bill.
When is my first payment due?
Payment for the first month programming is due at the time of activation.
I'm only going to be on vacation for two week. Can I pay for a partial month of service?
No. All payments are for 30-days of service at a time.
Can I get local Networks?
Yes, local networks are available in your home market. Your home market is determined based on your service address. When traveling outside of your home market, you have two options. The first option is to use an over the air antenna to view local stations in that area. DISH Network’s receiver technology will even allow you to import local station into your programming guide. The second option is to subscribe to DISH Network® Distant Network Service which will allow you to receive network programming from both New York and Los Angeles DMA’s.
I already have DISH Network at home. How can I get it for my RV?
You have two options for adding DISH to your RV. If distant networks are important to you, you will need to create a second account (pay-as-you-go) to be eligible for distant networks in your RV. If you prefer to use an over-the-air antenna and distant networks are not important to you, you can simply add a DISH Network Mobile HD Set-top to your existing residential account for $7 per month.

What is the difference between DISH Network and DIRECTV?
DISH Network is offering a program specifically made for the RV market, including the pay-as-you-go programming and customized toll-free support.
DISH Network can offer HD programming in motion; it is more difficult and expensive to do so with their competitors.
Can you tell me more about the DISH Network Mobile HD set-top (Model #VIP211k) , will it do HD, DVR?
We are recommending the model VIP211k set-top for use in the RV environment. It will do both SD (standard definition) and HD (high definition) so that it doesn't matter what type of TV you have, it will work. The VIP211k also has DVR capability that is dormant out of the box. If you are not interested in DVR, you don't have to pay for it. If you want DVR, you add a separate hard drive (any brand name can be purchased at most electronics stores) and pay a 1 time activation fee of $40. DISH Network will activate the DVR functionality and you have a DVR!! There are no monthly fees to use the DVR, the receiver runs cooler because the hard drive is separate, and you get a hard drive with better shock protection, similar to a lap top computer.
