Winegard Pathway X2 - The Most Versatile Portable Satellite Antenna Ever Made

The Pathway X2 features a generous 18” reflector, which provides stronger signal and greater resistance to signal loss during inclement weather. This lightweight and portable antenna requires minimal set up time. The Pathway X2 features two coax outputs and can run up to two mobile receivers simultaneously. The Pathway X2 also features a unique “two receiver” setup mode for specifically running two receivers at once. This antenna has an easy grip carry handle and an eyelet molded into the base for securing the antenna and providing an anti-theft capability.

With Pay As You Go TV, there is no contract required and no activation fees. Best of all, you only pay for the months that you want to use it.

Customers that DO NOT already have a compatible receiver (ViP 211, 411, or Wally) will want to purchase the Pathway X2 Bundle or Pathway X2 2 Receiver Bundle.

Western and Eastern Arc Option

Another key feature of the Pathway X2 is the ability to switch between both Western and Eastern Arc DISH satellites. In “One receiver” mode, the default Western Arc “Mode A” (110, 119, 129) can be switched to the optional Eastern Arc “Mode B” (61.5, 72.7, 77). This feature allows for greater coverage flexibility and is useful for owners that live in or travel to certain Northeastern areas and Eastern coastal regions within the continental United States where Western Arc coverage may not be optimal.

International channels are now only broadcasting on satellite 118w and are no longer on the eastern arc. As a result, there are no mobile antennas capable of picking up these channels.

  1. Great star rating

Posted by on Jul 6th 2020

Love the reception. Still figuring it out. Funny it rotates with the TV off. We live in a campground with a lot of trees. Glad we went with the Pathway x2. Amy our sales rep was awesome. Ask for her. Cover came all scratched up due to packing.

  2. Reliable (one exception) and good signal strength star rating

Posted by on Oct 4th 2019

We have been full-time RVers since 2015 and have used a Pathway X2 the entire time. We travel throughout the eastern and western US and use both Dish satellite arcs as needed for HD locals. Our first X2 (purchased summer of 2015) died a few months out of warranty. I found it more convenient to just order a new one rather than do without while waiting for shipping and repair. The second antenna has given us no problems whatsoever. A satellite finder app on my smartphone and Dish's addition of the ability to change locals ourselves via the MyDish phone app have made life even easier.

  3. Good for Camping star rating

Posted by on Jul 2nd 2019

If you're camping miles away from civilization and want to watch TV, this is a good alternative. My wife and I use it, via the Flex Pack, to receive channels and watch TV when we're unable to leave our RV (e.g., due to excessive heat). Notes: 1) it functions well in most weather, but not if anything (storm clouds, heavy foliage) significantly obscures the southern sky; 2) sometimes it takes 10-15 minutes to boot up, acquire the satellite, then download guides.

  4. Self- tracking star rating

Posted by on Jun 4th 2019

I like the way it is self contained and self-tracking. It is light weight and easy mounting to the tripod.

  5. Good experience star rating

Posted by on Apr 17th 2019

The bundle arrived faster than expected and double boxed. We hooked it up in no time we had tv. The system is working well under less than optimal location. The activation process was done in 15 minutes. My only complaint is the instructions post activation are almost nonexistent. For example what do I do when I move to a new location? Do I run setup again? How do I change from eastern to western satellites? That may become evident when we hit the road. At any rate glad I spent extra money on the X2 and Dish.

  6. Better than expected! star rating

Posted by on Oct 13th 2018

Took this out for its maiden voyage (use) on a cold, rainy weekend of camping. To make things worse, there was a huge fir tree that I was just not going to get around. This thing found the satellites fast and never once lost reception. Time will tell if build quality and reliability hold true, but initial performance is much better than expected.

  7. Happy with purchase star rating

Posted by on Sep 11th 2018

Love being able to have all the channels again, was easy to set up and activate! Only problem is it sometimes takes a very long time to load up and does it every couple of days.. but overall I'm very pleased with it and love that it is pay as you go.

  8. Easy to set up star rating

Posted by on May 31st 2018

I would give this 5 stars if it did t take so long to activate. On hold with Dish could be avoided. This is a moble device, just activate it without a phone call.

  9. If you a full time RV'r this dish is for you star rating

Posted by on May 28th 2018

Easiest dish to use ever. Just point the coaxial connections to the North and Walley will do the rest. I get signal even on cloudy days i only lose signal if it rains heavy.

  10. A lot better than the tailgater star rating

Posted by on Mar 28th 2018

I don't lose signal in the rain and I can see where it is pointing and that makes it easier to avoid trees. Definitely worth the money.

  11. Great signal and simple set up star rating

Posted by on Jan 26th 2018

Bought this antenna and Wally for my work shop. Mounted the antenna on a platform to the side of my shop. It found the satellites with no problem and signal level is about 70. Prefect for what I need.

  12. Buy the correct antena star rating

Posted by on Oct 30th 2017

I purchased a pathfinder as I was told by the sales person, it would pick up local channels in my area. It would not pick up local channels as promised.
After about 20 hours in phone calls, I finally spoke with the right person. She said my local channels are on satellite 61.5. The pathfinder will not get this satellite (61.5) .
I had to send the pathfinder back and order the X2. It will pick up satellites on the eastern or western sky. It is about $200.00 more.
So check which satellite your local channel is transmitted and save yourself 20 hours of compete frustration.

  13. go anywhere tv star rating

Posted by on Oct 26th 2017

i like the concept of being able to take my tv anywhere. I am new to dish but so far so good. the dish is built a little flimsy but it can put anywhere. The first couple of days i had really high winds so i stayed out there with it to make sure it wouldn't go anywhere, the anchors worked good even in over 39 mph winds. as of right now i would recommend this package to anyone.

  14. GREAT BUNDLE star rating

Posted by on Oct 13th 2017

Bought this bundle for use in a rv. Works very well and super easy to set up. I would recommend this setup for anyone looking at purchasing a portable satellite.

  15. Seems to do the job star rating

Posted by on Oct 4th 2017

The dish and Wally receiver worked well together after I got a tech on the phone and he helped me through the set up. He was very patient.
My application is in an RV. Sad the Wally does not have a COAX output to mate with my RV video system. Had to jury rig it and get the optional RF modulator. (more money, more stuff to find a home for.)

I like the Wally RF remote. I've only had it a week but it seems to be doing fine. The reports of others about the software download troubles did not affect me although I could see it happening.

  16. No problems star rating

Posted by on Sep 20th 2017

Through customer service installation was easy and they were patient. Works well but I need to continue to watch videos to get use to usr and available uses.

  17. Kicks the A** of the King Tailgater star rating

Posted by on Aug 18th 2017

Wow, what a great antenna. The Tailgater was hard to point, hard to set up, and use, lost signal constantly, and didn't deliver a very good picture. We returned it and bought the X2.

The X2 is everything that the King is not. Dual arc, true easy set up, quick satellite acquisition, and much better picture. It also holds the signal longer in heavy thunderstorms and comes back faster and without having to reset the Wally once the storm passes.

  18. Great Little Portable Dish star rating

Posted by on Jul 15th 2017

We bought this because we want to travel from west to mid-west. Changing satellites can be a problem, but this dish finds the satellite for you as long as the unit is pointing to a southern sky. It runs off the coaxial feeding does not need its own power source. We have been satisfied with our dish even though the dish is limit to a very small section of sky where the RV is parked now limiting what satellites we receive.

  19. Awesome little system star rating

Posted by on Jul 4th 2017

Just started using but so far it is working as advertised. I hooked it up and sat back and waited. Approximately 15 minutes later I was watching the same channels I had at home. Now I can watch my sports teams wherever I go. I love it!!!

  20. Love it star rating

Posted by on May 5th 2017

Set it out, hook it up, turn it on. You're done.
    Works great, lightweight.
